Omega.
Introduction
Checks if the distribution of omega angles is normal.
Methods
For most geometric parameters in proteins we have a good idea what the
normal or optimal values should be. Omega, however, has managed to evade
proper understanding till now. The point is that crystallographers always
use constraints on omega, and these constraints differ from case to case.
The most thorough studies of omega have been made by the Thornton group,
and this server checks if the omega values in the input PDB file agree
with their conclusions.
