Introduction

Checks if planar groups are planar enough.

Methods

The Cambridge small molecule database was analysed and a set of ideal planarities was derived. This server checks if all groups that are supposed to be planar are indeed planar enough. Four sigma deviations are listed.

We could not find enough nucleic acids to do the same for these those. So, in case your PDB file contains nucleic acids, un uncallibrated validation (read: comparison with gambled standard data) is performed on them.
