Before I came to work at the CMBI, I worked at the EMBL, first as staff scientists with Chris Sander, later as my own boss. There are still some remnants left of the group pages from both the Sander group, and my own group. Please be aware that these are really the ruines of once glorious WWW pages. After 1999 these pages have seen no maitenance and thus are now riddled with dead links and other nonsence.
