When we were invited to write about the CMBI PDB Facilities we decided to overhaul all of them from the ground up. That included redoing the Lists in a new, better maintainable way; making DSSP ′open′ and suitable for mmCIF files; making new databases for WHAT_CHECK so that we can make a new, and better maintainable PDBREPORT database; making PDB_Vis and VASE available to you, and ten more little things.
Obviously, we did not finish all of this in time. Corona came; Gert retired; and the IT personnel of Radboudumc sees science as a nuisance.
So, take what you can get, and ask us what is missing so we move that to the top of the list.
